Kisop is a system and social impact startup that helps users build a personal copy of their data, augment a repository with helpful authoritative content, and use it to improve the accuracy of AI systems they interact with while preserving privacy, safety and security. Kisop also connects users with the community and drives economic value back to local economies.
The goal is for each person to have a complete view of their important information (like health data), identify the changes they need to make to achieve a goal (like improve their health), and be successful making those changes.
What does the name Kisop mean? The term Kisop is an acronym with various intended meanings: “Keeping Information Safe, Open and Private”, “Knowledge in Service of a Person”, “Knowledge in Service of Public Health”. It is intentionally open-ended to evolve into whatever the community needs it to be.
Most style guides would write a 5-letter acronym in a title case, therefore I use “Kisop” when I write about it.
