Kisop outlines a vision for a community-driven, globally extensible health system that prioritizes individual data ownership, privacy, and equitable access to care. This system proposes an augmented personal health repository where users maintain control over their health information and its interaction with AI. The system emphasizes multilingual support, open knowledge, and robust AI governance to create a sustainable infrastructure for proactive and preventive health management across all communities.
The system proposed is designed to optimize for solving the problems of a single user in the environment they most trust, and to allow an ecosystem to unfold creating tools that support private implementations of systems.
The field of AI is evolving quickly and the specific tools used to interact with consumer data will evolve. The goal of this work is to establish a global system of cooperation that enables a user to maintain an Augmented Personal Health Repository, enriching it over time with many multimodal sources of data, offering consent management, portability into any local or distributed environment on a phone, watch, computer, or any other device of the consumer’s choosing and ensuring privacy and security. Once the Augmented Personal Health Repository is available, the user can then leverage it for any interaction with other systems.
Given that the system is a global system solving an infinite number of use cases, the architecture allows the global community of users to enumerate use cases (product features of the system), separates front end from back end development, handles sophisticated machine-readable rights management, makes the tools available across languages, and allows the user to track an infinite number of variables in measuring the conditions they face and the success of the changes they make to the variables they wish to track.
The result is that the user has the equivalent of a “Mars Rover for Healthcare” that navigates a range of variables in any context throughout the person’s lifetime and is created for their specific needs by a global community collaborating to make tools available to all.
Please note: The blog posts throughout this site represent ideas that were developed and shared in various ways from January 2023 to Oct 2025. The dates of the posts will be updated to reflect when they were developed and shared, but do not currently reflect those dates. I am prioritizing sharing the ideas.
